The book is one of the most amazing books I've ever read.

Jostein Gaarder is brilliant.

Long before, I've been looking for a book which could tell me the important parts of history in chronological order, without making it seem like a boring lecture. Gaarder managed to make it seem like a story that's continuously changing and developing, and for sure, it stayed true to what one of the philosophers inside has said.

The book is not without an interesting plot and lots of surprises. It's funny and witty, and informative too. It's almost as if one can use this as a reference.

Certainly, if one wants to study philosophy but doesn't know where to start, this is a good way to start.

Mind boggling and awe inspiring, truly, this will remain one of my best recommended books to anyone. :)
