If you can open the spreadsheet, you'll see it's a very small list of people who have gotten the correct number. This is not a trick question. This is a real math problem so don't say that a bus has no legs.

Out of the 27.0 units binigyan ako ng 9 units at in conflict pa yung dalawang subjects dun. Kamusta naman?

But I'm not complaining. May 2nd round pa naman -- no sense in panicking, right?

I had an adventure today!

Earlier this morning, Ms. Hazel texted us about a(n impromptu) photoshoot today and we could come anytime from 10-5. Even before the text, I already had a problem regarding my ride back home. Kuya's exam is from 4-6. I was going to school to drop off some papers and I'm done. So what do I do during the next hour and a half? The library closes at 5 and I wasn't inclined to stay at the cafeteria (lest I want to add extra pounds I already worked hard to lose!).

So it was really good that I had something else I could do while waiting for kuya, and that is to go to claret and have my photo taken! :D Ayos, feeling star pa naman ako ngayon ---> hinahanap-hanap at namimiss ang mga nangyaring photoshoot and pagpapamper sa akin nung debut ko. hahahahahahaha. :p

But there was a problem: walang maghahatid sa akin. So I had no choice but to commute from UP to Claret. I was hoping some of my friends would be at UP para at least masamahan ako hanggang philcoa but it was not be. I was to do this all on my own.

And so, with a brave heart, I ventured out of my comfort zone and rode a jeep to philcoa! :D the ride was okay, albeit very tight. (pinagpipilitan nung manong na pagkasyahin kameng lahat dun -- I literally felt like a sardine -- nasa dulo pa naman ako >.< I felt like I could pop out accidentally from the jeep anytime. 8-}) What made it all the better was when I got on the jeep, my Korean Exchange Student classmate was on it too, and she recognized me. Yaaaay. :D So we talked until she had to get down at IC. (awwww. bye-bye Tammy!)

So then, I was alone. Hm... kaya ako natatakot kasi, Philcoa yun eh. It's a very busy place -- daming nangyayari dun na hindi kanais-nais. But then I thought, madali lang naman makasakay ng trike dun. Pagbaba ko, andun na ko sa may trike. But nooooooo. The jeep just had to let us down at Jollibee! T_T So I had to walk all the way to the corner where the tricycles are. (It was reaaally scary kasi ang daming jeep and buses na dumarating. T_T I was afraid mananakawan pa ako or something. -_-;; ) But I made it to the trikes. And yaaaaay. Ayun, the next thing I know, I was at claret na.

All the while, I wasn't sure if I should've gone there kasi I received a text from Ina that the photographer left. By then I'd be having this adventure for nothing. But I thought, it's okay because I have the pieces with me, so this would all be at least worth something. BUT again, NOOOOO. 8-} Naiwan ko pala yung mga piyesa. >.> Talk about doing it all for nothing.

hahahaha! :D

Pero hindi rin! Adventure yun! At least now, I know kahit walang maghahatid sa akin, kaya kong makapunta dun. :p Part na siya ng comfort zone ko. yeaaaay. :D Ayos diba? ^__^

And okie lang din kasi nakakwentuhan ko naman sina ma'am (, kuya leonard, and kuya arman). Napanood ko pa yung mga teachers sa claret magpractice nung sayaw nila at nakakatuwa silang panoorin! Hahahahah! hindi sila magkaintindihan for the most part. XD

Well, there goes my adventure. ^_^ I resolve to have new adventures every other day para exciting ang life. :D

Heeheehee. ^.^ Anyway, this video was taken last saturday, Oct. 6, 2007 at Trinoma. The even was entitled Rhythm Academy and that night, they featured Nina with Kilyawan Boys Choir. :) More vids are coming up, don't worry. :D Including ones with Nina. :D (hahaha, steal lang ako from my contacts eh. xD mine are crappy, that's why >.>)

My day started just like any other special-events-day with ctkpc -- with ate liz having to call me at home to wake me up, and still being late (I arrived sometime past 7:30. heh. call time was 7 and the church was just 2 blocks away from my house. xD)

Today is Mama Mary's birthday. And so we had to sing at the 8am mass. Did pretty well, if only we didn't forget our lines sa Papuri. Imagine, nakalimutan pa namin yung line?? hahaha. and I think i did pretty well sa solo part too (considering that i was unsure of which "ikaw na nagaalis..." melody I was to sing. @_@ hahaha).

Thanks to ate liz and meg for helping me with the pieces. :D Thanks to them plus mia, zy and kay for spending lunchtime with me. (KFC bucket meal -- super nakakabusog na kahit merienda or dinner, hindi na ako naka-kain!)

Anyway, later in the afternoon, I went to the clinic (and arrived on time!) for the rehearsal.

What was interesting (and amazing) was, in 30 minutes, we finished half of Love is the Answer (which I really missed by the way! this was my first song (aside from Lupang Hinirang) with Himig!). Although it's not that difficult a song, I was still pretty much amazed, and happy, that this is how fast-paced we are in learning songs. A new challenge for me. :D Lucky lang ako kasi we study songs I already know. xD hahaha.

Anyhoo, the kids further amazed me by learning Glory to God in just about 3 repetitions. They know how to sight-read! (And I don't. :c) I was feeling rather elated (because of awe) until I was asked to do the obbligato. I suppose I should've seen it coming. :( Pero kasi when we sing that here sa ctk, tenors do that part. Ah well. Challenges are good.

Anyhoo, fast forward to the mass.

There were a LOT of people. And when I say a lot, I mean a LOT!  It amazed me to see just how many the church could fit. Parang kumanta na lang rin kame sa St. Peter's. @_@

And here are the highlights of my experience kanina:

• I had some kids ride with me to OLAP. They were really fun to be with -- ang kukulit! hahaha.! They're so sweet rin! :p But then I realized, I was the adult. I was responsible for them. Should anything happen to them, ako mananagot. @_@ woah. Suddenly, taking kids to ride with me didn't seem like such a good idea. -_-;; Pero okie lang. hahaha, it's high time I learn how to be an adult. :p
• Upon arriving, the number of people already in the church surprised me -- so much that I nearly panicked when I saw kung sino-sino pa lang kame dun.
• Nagstart ang mass na ang mga nandun lang ay yung mga bata (SA), some kuya's (TB), and 4 of us girls. We didn't even know kung ano yung entrance. @_@ Thank God for the kuya's there. -_-
• Despite my terror and panic, I'm happy na nakanta naman ng maayos (well, I wouldn't really know because I couldn't hear us) yung Gloria, and I didn't mess up my obbligato. yaaay! you guys are so good! :D:D:D
• We sang the Responsorial Psalm well too! :D HAHA. Funny kasi up until I asked yung isang kuya for the melody of the Response, iba yung naaalala ko na melody. xD Yung dati pala naming ginamit sa CTK yung naaalala ko. xD
• SUPER INIT sa church. It was sooooo stuffy and suffocating that during the Homily, I was afraid I would faint. Super nahihilo na talaga ako. T_T Of all the times I'd forget to bring my (well, not mine - Joanne's) fan, ngayon pa!
• Dumating sina mam homily. Thank God! I was afraid they wouldn't come and was actually thinking if this was some kind of test for us -- kung kakayanin ba namin kapag biglang hindi sila makapagshow-up. @_@ Good thing CTK taught me not to scream, panic, and back-out during those times. We'd have sung a capella if we had to, luckily we didn't. Dumating naman ung mga tutugtog on time. *whew*

Well, so far those are what I remember from my experience sa OLAP. hehehe. It was really challenging (and here I go with the repetition of words). I'm happy kasi kahit paano, we did good naman (nung wala pa sina mam). Nakakatuwa talaga yung mga bata! Nabibilib ako! I'm soooo in love with all of them na! hahahahaha! XD I mean, it's so amazing to not see them panicking dahil wala pa sina mam et al. They're such <3's.

It helps na ang ccute pa nung maliliit! nakakagigiiiiil!! >.<

Anyhoo, after staying around a bit, I finally went home feeling exhausted but satisfied at the same time. :)

ay wait. hindi rin pala. Well, not quite.

1.) the copy of Nessun Dorma Arman promised me a couple of weeks ago are still non-existent. (super tagal ko nang gustong makita yung piece na yun! but i don't know what to search for sa OPAC para makita ko. >.<)

2.) and hindi pa sa akin nasasabi yung thing na sinabi daw ni sir mark, na apparently, alam nina kuya leonard, arman, and mam hazel. I'm dying to know kung ano yun! I'm just afraid it might not be something I'd really want to hear. T_T Is this why hindi niyo pa sa akin sinasabi? @_@ haaaay.

Well, there it goes. A loooooong blog after a looooooong time of not posting.

oh yeah. hindi na pala ako makakasali sa NAMCYA. *sigh*
