"Someday, I'll be the fastest runner!" "Someday, I'll be the most famous actor." "Someday, I'll find the cure for cancer." "Someday, I'll be the greatest politician the world has seen."
"Someday, we'll all be together again."
"Someday..." "Some...day..."
Why always just someday? Why not today? Or even tomorrow or next week?
Putting a definitive when on promises makes them more concrete, and therefore, more realizeable. Yet, someday is what softens the promise in case it is not kept. But we have the power to make someday a realization, and not just a someday, just like we have the power to draw or write anything from our minds.
So I say, it's okay to say someday. Just make sure you don't let your someday remain a someday.
